THIS WEEK WE PLAY SANCTUARY GOLF COURSE IN TROY.  DRIVING DIRECTIONS TAKE M-59 TO DEQUINDRE EXIT TURN RIGHT ON SOUTH BLVD.  ENTRANCE JUST WEST AT 1450 SOUTH BLVD.  COURSE IS BETWEEN JOHN R AND DEQUINDRE.  TEE TIME IS 9AM AND COST IS $24.  ON JUNE 27 WE PLAY AT STONEY CREEK.  ON JULY 11^TH WE PLAY AT TWIN LAKES. ON JULY 25^TH WE PLAY AT RACKHAM.

PACE of PLAY Guidelines and Tips

Pace of Play

• Each course has their own pace of play and expects a foursome to play 18 holes in the clubs suggested time frame.  Try to adhere to the courses time.
• Play “Ready Golf”.  Players should be ready to hit as soon as it is their turn. If you can’t find your ball, IN THREE MINUTES, drop a ball and play on.  That is a USGA Rule which we follow.  NO BALL HAWKING, EXCEPT WHEN SEARCHING FOR YOUR OWN BALL.
• “Hit & Sit” Don’t put clubs away after every shot. Keep your club in your hand and get on the cart and proceed to your next shot. You’ll have time for your “housekeeping” at the next stop.  Don’t be afraid to walk to your ball instead of being driven to it by your driver.
• It is your group’s responsibility to keep up with the group in front of you.  Golfers falling more than one hole behind may be asked to skip a hole by the course Ranger.
• When near the putting green, park the golf cart in a spot that will enable a quick walk off the green and towards the next tee.  Observe parking signs where posted. 
• Record scores at the next tee.
• Use a yardage measuring device like a GPS or Laser and etc. to avoid searching for course markers
• Take only ONE practice swing.
• Don’t talk or make noises when a Player is addressing his ball and is ready to play..

Etiquette

• Remember to pick up tees, fill divots, and repair ball marks please 😊
• Always observe the 90 degree rule, even when the ground is not wet
• DO NOT PARK CART IN FRONT OF GREEN
• All cart wheels on the path near greens and tees
• Place rakes in the bunker with handle on the turf
